I am a practicing theatre maker & performer based from, and delivering to, the town of Luton.
My artistic practice specialises in storytelling, acting, puppeteering & delivering work for families & children. After training at Sylvia Young Theatre School, I worked as a touring performer for 15 years, with credits including “Cat In The Hat” UK Tour and Storyteller/ Puppeteer in If Not Here … Where? with Little Angel Theatre. After a successful performance career, I have used these experiences to the develop my own unique children’s theatre practice named A Children’s Story. I am based at the Hat Factory and soon to be Hat Works, as part of the Creative Pioneer scheme with Culture Trust Luton. I aims to produce new, accessible theatre for families, high quality educational work that engages children in a conversation about important issues in a positive manner.
I am looking forward to deliver workshops based on creating a storytelling puppet theatre piece for Me, Myself & Arts with Little Red Arts.
I have also been awarded the prestigious DYCP from Arts Council England in developing work for young audiences and families and continuing business mentoring with The Princes Trust.
